That's a beautiful Canarm.
That 1980s hugger is the same as theses GE vent equivalent with the same narrow switch housing. I always wondered what brand they are. It's housing is probably standard size. It's the narrow switch housing that makes it look bigger.
I liked the first version of the SMC Scandinave with the pull chains. Since about 2005, it's remote controlled. I don't like the new version as much.

Very beautiful canarm! Maybe it's coming from the royal collection, i wasnt sure
No brand on the hugger, and i'm shure the housing is bigger than the other fans.
The scandinavian, it's very cheap. when the model had the pullchains, i really liked it

I have for you this week 4fans. The first one, wal mart garbage from around 2005 the fan and the design are very ugly. Saturday, june 30th, a guy came and just said, i have 3fans to give. I was very happy. i reversed all the blades, Canarm, 1990 and the 2smc. from 1992 This week in store The display should be extended. Hope we do that this summer... Have a great week!

I like all of them! Ever thought of running power to the display? I think that Walmart thing is cool, regardless of its cheapness. One of the last "good" ones.

Thanks for the good comments!
For sure i would love to have power on the display, but i'm not working everyday, and my co-workers wouldn't be confortable with this idea... But you gave me a nice idea...

Whoa! The Wal-Mart fan is weird. I don't think I ever saw this model, then again I haven't been in a Wal-Mart since August 2004.
The SMC Royal Flushes are the Plus version with the included light kit. I recently posted one just like it in my sightings but without light kit.

remember the last time you went to wal-mart?
I saw the r-flush in your sitting. I'm sure there was a light kit on the one you saw, because of the hole in the center, and screws holes

Most, if not all SMCs from the late 80s on through the 90s and beyond had the screws and unthreaded hole on the switch housing/switch cap for application of a light kit, not just the ones with included light. Though that one Jean saw could go either way considering the screws and little plug are not present.

I found a deal on the internet for 3 canarm industrials. the boxes are damaged, and were open, I got 3 fans and a control for around 135$ The electrician is supposed to be there, at this moment that i'm writing this. you will see the pictures during the weekend. I opened a box, the fan never served. and was from 2009

Cool! You went to get them at the place that sells them for really cheap in St-Isidore-de-La Prairie? Did you went yourself to get them or it's someone else that did it? If you went there do you know if they have any of other sizes or only 140cm?
