Where is the Hunter Original in Vieux-Montréal? It seems like it wasn't in a commercial place. Do you remember the street?
The Nadair images are amazing. It's nice to know all the names of these models and their slogans are interesting.
Very cool, thanks for posting.

Jean, The original was between Saint-dizier and saint-sulpice street. There is a small park and the street is called Le royer ouest

Wow there's so many gorgeous fans in those magazines!
Those big clunky remotes are quite humorous..

I love this show too ! Actually they were replaced with chandelier/ light fixture except for the homestar, it was replaced with some kind of modern harbor breeze/hampton bay fan Ick.

Very cool fans, thanks for posting.
Very nice that you got two of these Quatre Saisons. I knew they would be newer than 1982. My local Jean Coutu had the same in 140 cm. The 90 cm model is pretty rare. They must be crazy powerful in this size. Notice how the quatre on the lower canopy is all faded. It's supposed to be orange. Unfortunately, they are missing the nut on both.
The first fan at the Dollar Store is the same as those red painted fans in the Anglican church in Montréal that I updated recently in my sightings. They are New Fans.
The other one is a Nadair. I hate how the canopies are often reversed on theses or other Nadairs.

Jean, the 4 seasons were actually very powerful, I was surprised by how silent they were. One of them had it's nut in the box, and I kept it !
thanks for the infos on the other industrials fans, I remember seeing them in your thread but forgot what brand they were

45th, mid 2000's Mainstays/Wal Mart Hugger nothing too special, white/bleached oak blades. Blades were originally on the white side 46th. Remember this fan ? Well the guy who bought it didn't needed the light kit, so I kept it for the next fan. which is a 1996 Canarm "Mercury"

Nice Renaissance... though the three pull chains clustered together look like they would make a lot of noise when the fan is going at high speeds. Is there a way you can 'space' them out?
And is there supposed to be an 'uplight' on the Canarm Mercury?

Organistjx, for the renaissance, it's only the angle of the picture. 2 of the pull chains were touching, but the third one was far. I don,t think the 2 pull chains would touch while the fan is running.
Yes, as you can see there is light in the motor housing, Which in facts is an uplight.

Had one of those WalMart hugger fans in my last house.. they're pretty junky..
The Mercury is a neat fan, that light works well on it..

I like the cane ten times better than the wood on that AB hugger. That's a cool fan! I agree. I prefer the cane on that fan.
