Although the Schoolhouse doesn't look too bad for a new economy fan, $149.99 without a remote control or even included light bulbs is ridiculous! I'll bet it doesn't even cost Canadian Tire $14.99 to buy it from the manufacturer! The Leon is quite nice though, and also reasonably priced. What if it came with a CFL? Would it be worth while then? I highly doubt it would be SMC, since Canadian Tire hasn't used to to (to 2?) make any of their fans since 2006 (at least, as far as I know). The previous Likewise version of the Hugger was made by Zhongshan Wei He Electrical Appliance Company Limited. Consider revising?... |

Thanks for the pictures, it's interesting how the edges of the motor are squarish.
I hope they will be cleaned before being put back up.
What speed do you use the most?

Go figure. Seriously though, for that price the motor better be a 188X25 and no less! That is quite odd, I've never seen that before. Do you know of any other fans that are like this? Any 52" PowerMax-made Canarm fans as far as I know. |
