Jean, I wanted a 4 lights on my fan to have a 3 way pull chain, I always wanted tjat kind of light kit, In person, it looks perfect to the fan.
The control is great on it, but the slowest speed is a bit too fast in my opinion, but not a major problem
You also know that I don't have enough space to store the fans. This particular spinner was scrapped.
Adam, the pictures are from Mar-a-lago in Plam Beach

Week's sightings - Part I I finished this week the paint job on the SMC with original light kit when the new one was in progress With new light kit The fan has a loud humming, I might not keep it as long as I expected. I love it! The proportions are perfect, and it has that oh-so-amazing 90's contemporary look! Putting rubber washers in between the mounting bracket and the ceiling might help alleviate the noise. Table lamps Those look like they belong in a high-end hotel Took a picture of the 4 fans in the main part of the store, Canarm Tempest I remember Jean posted picture of these back in 2010. Also found a magazine form the mid 2000,s with pictures of Donald Trump's house That's beautiful! And a box from Nadair I didn't know Nadair had an office in South Africa! 41st, 2010 Hunter Augusta No canopy, mounting and downrod. went to the scrap Black/rosewood blades I own one of these 2010 Hunter Augusta's. Honestly, I have mixed feeling about it... 42nd, 2007 Canarm Twister/Lincoln what you see is what I got. Also went to the scrap Those blades are gross 43rd and 44th 2010 Airworks from Zellers white/bleached oak blades There's one thing these fans project: cheapness! 45th, 2002 Canarm hugger white blades on both sides I thought these had reversible blades. Maybe they were pained? 46th, 1999 Encon Royal Crown humming, and damages on the blades decided to keep it I remember you had one of these before. They're cool fans. 47th Undated top mount spinner the writing on the sticker was gone, but it had the shape of a Nadair's sticker so I'll assume it's a Nadair Honestly, I can't blame you for scrapping it. That paint is in bad shape! 48th, was in the same box as precedent fan, light kit was also in the box but not on the fan light cover from my storage 1990 Alaska speed pull chain low-med-high Oddly enough, I think the the light kit looks good on it. Also, it has a big motor for being so new.

Max, I really like too the 90's look of the fan, I'm trying to find something else, with spot light kit.
I'm very proud of my table lamps ! They looks really nice
For the tempest, jean posted a picture of one many years ago but I never took a picture of the 4 fans together
For the airworks, you're right, they were really cheap but I sold them 15$ each the day after
The 2002 only had white blades, original finish on both side, Maybe they introduced the reversible blades some years after
I had the same Encon, in 2012 if i'm right The fan was in much better condition but was wobbling
for the scratched spinner, I asked my boss if the fan was worth the test and he said that we'll receive much better fans

Ouch, those poor, poor blades. Very odd that it's labeled Canarm, it's even printed on the same shape sticker that TAT used. Never heard of TAT having any association with Canarm before... I've known of this association for years, mostly in regards to the industrials. Canarm and Wing-TAT made parts/fans for each other. ..And, it almost looks like it came from a friggin Dairy Queen. Other than the reverse pull chain

Max, I really like too the 90's look of the fan, I'm trying to find something else, with spot light kit. There were two Casablanca Lady Delta's on Kijiji that Jean posted last month. I'm not sure if they're still there, but I know they had spotlights. I'm very proud of my table lamps ! They look really nice They do indeed! I'm just wondering, how did you make everything look so good when you pained it? I usually haven't had very good luck when it comes to spray paint... For the tempest, Jean posted a picture of one many years ago but I never took a picture of the 4 fans together True. Now if only your boss would allow you to install better fans! For the Airworks, you're right, they were really cheap but I sold them 15$ each the day after I'm not surprised to hear that. Airworks (along with Likewise, For Living some Wal-Mart models) are made by Zongshan Wei He Electrical Appliance Company. I'm just curious, what kind of light bulbs do they use? The light kit almost looks like halogen. The 2002 only had white blades, original finish on both side, maybe they introduced the reversible blades some years after? That would make sense. I know the 2004 ones had reversible blades. I had the same Encon, in 2012 if I'm right The fan was in much better condition but was wobbling I remember that post now. Didn't you call it the "French Castle"? For the scratched spinner, I asked my boss if the fan was worth the test and he said that we'll receive much better fans. I don't blame him/her. Unless the fan was a Hunter Original or a Casablanca, I wouldn't want to keep it if it were that scratched either.

Is it just me, or do the fans in the magazines look like Hunter 1886 series?

Max, I'm not really into used bedroom, especially for my bedroom I like NIB fans, I like the smell and look of a new fan. I'm sure it will be silent and wobble free and in perfect cosmetic condition.
It tooks me more than a month to paint the fan and 2 lamps I had to paint multiple time the same parts because they were not well painted, They are not that perfect, but they look very good.
For the tempest, I hope they'll be trashed during the remodel (2014-2015) I want hampton bay industrial fans 5 in the furniture/back store section. and 4 or 6 in the main part of the store. They want to change the lights, for new T8 ones, and put them in the other direction. so i'll hope they'll change the fans in this remodel.
On the airworks, they had a 60watts canderela bulb
Haha you're right, at the time I thought the fan had a french castle style
I wanted to keep the nadair spinner, maybe it was in good working condition and maybe sold it for 5$
But I don't have enough space. I have to keep in the back store ceiling fixtures and wait that some of them in the store get sold

Sweet new sightings! It's a shame that you spent all that time revamping that SMC hugger but it ended up being noisy.

Max, I'm not really into used for the bedroom, especially for my bedroom I like NIB fans, I like the smell and look of a new fan. I'm kind of the same way. It took me more than a month to paint the fan and 2 lamps I had to paint multiple time the same parts because they were not well painted. They are not that perfect, but they look very good. It most definitely paid off though! The paint job almost looks factory. I hope they get replaced too (honestly I wouldn't even care if they get trashed). Hampton Bay Industrial's are good fans, but the ceiling seems a bit low for how much air they blow. T8 lights are not nearly as good as T12 though. On the Airworks, they had a 60watts canderela bulb That must have been very dim! Haha you're right, at the time I thought the fan had a French castle style. I see what you say that. The fan does have kind of a French inspired theme. I wanted to keep the Nadair spinner, maybe it was in good working condition, and maybe sold it for 5$ But I don't have enough space. Possibly. I personally would have kept it too because Nadair's are rare over here in BC. I have to keep in the back store ceiling fixtures and wait that some of them in the store get sold Same at our ReStore. Currently, there is a Kendal Quantum awaiting sale at the back.

Max, Do you know where I can find a 42'' black ceiling fan ? I think i've searched everywhere...
The paint job doesn't looks like it,s from the factory. The picture make it look better than it is in person..
At our restore, the ceiling in the main part is 9'-3'' (111'') I don't know what else i could put there, I wanted a powerful fan that would not hang too low.
All the single bulb light kit are very dim
I get a lot of nadairs every years, so trashing one is not a big deal. And i'm always trying to sell quality products to the customers.

Max, Do you know where I can find a 42'' black ceiling fan ? I think I've searched everywhere... Nadiar made a lot of black ceiling fans. Maybe a new in box one might show up at your ReStore? The paint job doesn't looks like it,s from the factory. The picture make it look better than it is in person.. I can still grantee that it's a lot better than what I could do At our restore, the ceiling in the main part is 9'-3'' (111'') I don't know what else I could put there, I wanted a powerful fan that would not hang too low. My bad. I thought they were 8 feet. Hampton Bay Industrial's would be a great choice then. All the single bulb light kit are very dim. Most. There are quite a few halogen light kits that use a single bulb and are quite bright. Also, I know the Hampton Bay Southwind used to use a single 100-watt bulb in it's light kit, which was fairly bright. I get a lot of Nadairs every years, so trashing one is not a big deal. And I'm always trying to sell quality products to the customers. That's a good point. If the fan is common, and there is limited space, scrapping it really is a big deal. I'm all for quality myself, but sometime at the ReStore that just isn't possible. For example, in British Columbia Home Depot donates any returned items to the ReStore (including fans). The majority of these fans are (of course) Hampton Bay's or cheap new Hunter's. If I scrapped all of them, sure the customers wouldn't be getting cheap fans, but the fan display would also be empty a lot of the time and that wouldn't really help Habitat. So I have a choice, and I choose to sell these new (and mostly cheap) Hampton Bay's and Hunter's so that the ReStore is happy. Plus, we get so many that if somebody buys one of these fans, it breaks and they return it, there is a decent chance that there will be another one for sale.

51st, 1987-1988 NADAIR Monterrey with wood housing. Light kit was a Nadair one from 1988, and was broken. The fan was spinning only on high speed, both directions how I got it, loose screws after tighting the screws On the test rack 52nd, 1991 SMC laguna As I said befor, I can't keep yellowed fans. I tried to wash it but it was still very yellowed. 53rd, 2000 CANARM Catalyst VI white blades on both side. sold it the day after it went into the store
