Yes, I finally got my Emerson Heat Fan!!!! I was so happy when it showed up in the mail earlier today. A big thank-you goes out to Brian Hicks for selling it to me. I sat around for like 20 minutes taking pictures: [a href=" "] [/a] [a href=" "] [/a] Pictures of the motor: [a href=" "] [/a] [a href=" "] [/a] [a href=" "] [/a] [a href=" "] [/a] [a href=" "] [/a] [a href=" "] [/a] [a href=" "] [/a] Wow, that's a LONG pullchain! [a href=" "] [/a] It uses a non-original ball and socket mounting system. That's fine by me though : [a href=" "] [/a] [a href=" "] [/a] [a href=" "] [/a] Picture of the canopy: [a href=" "] [/a] Picture of one of the four blades: [a href=" "] [/a] Picture of the mounting bracket and screws in a baggie: [a href=" "] [/a] Picture of the label. Sorry it's hard to see. The model is "CF 1236": [a href=" "] [/a] Brian was nice enough to throw in a few parts that I need for my Crest! The mounting bracket, and a switch cap since I want to take the light off of it: [a href=" "] [/a] Since it has been so long, it was hard at first to believe I actually had an Emerson Blender in my hand ;D: [a href=" "] [/a] Picture of everything: [a href=" "] [/a] Some info: K55 motor, 36" inch with four woodgrain (plastic) blades, ball and socket mounting. Since I haven't wired it up yet, I don't know for sure how many speeds it has, but it probably has 2 my guess. Enjoy the pictures everyone!!!

You could've had one long ago.. but, whatever. I'm fairly certain his Father wanted to buy from a reputable source. ;D I'm glad you like it Rick, it is 2 speed. The brass screw and nut is for the canopy. The nut goes on the inside.

Ohhhhhhhhhhh congratulation Rick! I know how it feels like, believe me. When I got my top mount a year ago I did the same and sat in a room taking pictures of EVERYTHING of many different angles and all. The sad part is that I later realized that I could not continue like that taking MANY pics of everything cause it would have crashed my computer with pics too quickly.........unless you have a REALLY good, powerful and updated computer. For the canopy and ball & socket mount I just hope for you that with this flat canopy and ball & socket its gonna come flush to the ceiling cause I did the same with my blue Four Seasons spinner and converted it to ball & socket cause it was missing the double claw bracket and like the canopy is so FLAT on this fan (flatter than your Emerson) there was a spacing of 1'' between the ceiling and canopy. UGLY! Your Emerson canopy seems longer than my Four Seasons so it should not be as worst. They must be pretty light weighted for having a lot of their parts made of plastic? Sooooooooooo the big question: Are you gonna install it in your room! Like its a fan that you wanted baldy I hope its not gonna sit somewhere unused. I'm really happy for you.

YAY! So glad you got one! I think it has the same canopy as my Designer, in which case that bracket might just fit inside right. But Rick, if it doesn't fit all the way into the canopy, let me know. I've got a few that seem to fit very well inside, and I'll pop one in a bubble envelope and send it to you. I too hope you'll be able to install it, hate to see a fan this good sit around.

Thanks for the nice comments, everyone! The canopy *should* still be flush with the ceiling. We'll see about installing it.......I'll figure something out.

Just for fun (I got this idea from Jean, who did this with his PB chunky GE-Vent fan) I put 3 of the 4 blades on the Blender ;D: [a href=" "] [/a] [a href=" "] [/a] [a href=" "] [/a] [a href=" "] [/a] [a href=" "] [/a] [a href=" "] [/a] [a href=" "] [/a] Don't worry, the blades aren't supporting the motor; they just touch the ground as the motor lays on its side. This just gives you an idea of how the blades look on it. Enjoy everyone!

You should seriously installed in your room at the place of your Encon. You cannot say you don't have a place to install it.
Even though its smaller than your Encon I'm sure your gonna get much more air movement than with the Encon hugger.
