Sweet installs Zach! That light on the black original really matches the fan, looks like something straight out of a hunter catalog! I'm not too keen on the turtle fitter on the one archive original, though.

The turtle fitter is temporary until I find a better light for the fan...I just needed a light in the living room and didn't want to put up a different fan

Oh okay. What light do you think you'll be putting on it? May I suggest a classic schoolhouse globe? Particularly the Archive-style one?

Here is an update for me: '83 Zephyr in the kitchen now installed with one of Cole's reproduction canopy clips. '93 3rd gen Charleston in the Family Room. '84 Original Reverse-aire in the Living Room. '89 Delta II in the spare Bedroom. '81 Original Reverse-aire in my room now with wing-tip blades. '96 Encon Imperial in the Master Bedroom. CEC hugger and a '93 SMC U52 in the basement. Last and least, '02 Littleton in the Garage.

Thanks. Yeah, I have a sneaking suspicion it was like that in the rest of the house back in the day. Wish it still was.

Everything here's pretty much been swapped for reasons I will explain. Family Room is now the Casablanca Mercury. Loved the Amphora, but the heat of the bowl light heated the flywheel so much that the blades were sagging really badly. I've been experimenting for a few months with different fans, this is the best I've gotten so far. I had my white Hunter Millennium up for a bit, looked nice, but it just wasn't right. Mercury's on Hunter mounting for the remote control issue. My bedroom is a mix-matched Saturn. Anyone like this combo? I'm debating on it, kinda cool, but kinda wrong too. I didn't want to take the black Original down at all, I really do love it for that room. The thing is, I always sleep with the fan on and since it got colder I was always waking up really cold with the Original, those fans really crank out air even on low. I needed a much gentler low speed, thus I had to go Intelitouch. Usually I avoid IT having lost two boards, but I don't usually have issues in the winter, and the Original will probably go back up come springtime. Master bedroom is the chalk Emerson Crown. FASCO Charleston made my mom motion sick with the dark blades spinning against the white ceiling, so she asked for something white. Suits the room just as well really, just blends in more. Guest/Spare Bedroom is that cute Panasonic Lancelot. Matches the room well. I dunno about the light kit, I don't really have anything good for it. Looks better with a single light, but my mom uses the room for physical therapy and prefers four lights for maximum output. The basement fans are still the same as seen before, black Casablanca Delta and pewter Hunter LP III or whatever number it is.

I dont remember what was in the guest room before.
Crown is an improvement.
I dont like the Saturn. I'd put the Original back and modify the low speed or add a wall control. Or see if it in reverse is any better.
I'd love to see you have something 70s/early 80s in the family room.
