I had a dream that there was this really big fan. Like the round cage kind. I was in a car but then the door slams open and I get sucked into to fan by flying out the door. But it's in third person like some video games. Then.. No kidding my vision turns black and white and it says "Wasted" like some sort of GTA game. It sounds fake but it was real lol.

Updates! I got a test mount in the garage so now I have 4 fans installed in my house.
My Bedroom: 1982 Casablanca Victorian AW/AB with K4 light and Slumber Quiet control
Brother's Room: 1989 Casablanca Delta II with Zephyr arms and Stencil and a K4L with rare crystal globes SW/PB
Master: 1989 Olympia Medalist Builder PB with Cocncord light kit and tulip globes
Garage: 1993 Hampton Bay Landmark GEV SW/PB with 3 1/4" Schoolhouse globe and Cane blades

I really like the SMC install! The CB is neat too.. Got the same one but the bearings are spoiled.. Is it relatively quiet on lower speeds?

Very nice fans. That SMC spinner was mostly sold in Canada but even here is pretty uncommon so I can imagine how uncommon it might be in the States. A 90 cm version also existed. Does it have a date? We have galleries for members in case you want to add pictures of portable and ceiling fans. They can also be pictures of sightings. It would be nice to have yours in there. Thanks. The Caribbean Breeze has a bit of dry bearing sound on low, but otherwise it's quiet.
I have not seen the top of the SMC for the date, but I would guess it's around 1976 as that is about the time it would be put up there. I have not seen any like it other than here.
