Yes, my grandparents' Heritage hugger is making OBNOXIOUS noises! It is EXTREMELY annoying, and I worry about the fan falling if it is not installed properly. Here is the video of it running on high-medium-low. It wobbles the worst on medium, and the noise level is highest on medium. Actually, the ceiling creaks when this thing is on medium! [a href=" "][/a][/url] Please inform me what the problem is! I would want to fix this so I don't come to my grandparents' house with a broken Heritage on the floor!

I'd let it fall and put in a Casablanca. Okay, part of your problem is that it's a Her!t@ge, nothing you can do to fix that. Sounds like a ping pong ball in that thing, I really don't think there's much you can do for vibration noise, it's just the way Her!t@ges are. Otherwise for the other noise, maybe something is loose, check EVERY screw. That may include the mounting screws as well. As for wobble, you can try to balance the blades out, or the mounting screws may be loose (if this is the case, it may fix some of the noise as well). To tighten them you'd have to disassemble the whole fan to access them.

I tightened the blades today actually, while I was there, and the noise continued. I'll see what I can do about the mounting screws; that may be what is causing the wobble and/or noise. Thanks for the advice, Cole!

Yeah, I'd check the mounting screws. Actually, if you attempt to push the fan from side to side and it moves, it's loose for sure. If it doesn't move I'd still check the screws anyway to be safe. Make sure with all the vibration the fan makes that the screws holding on the housing are TIGHT, if loose it will really vibrate and make noise.

If I push the fan, it rocks violently side to side. And what's funny, if I hold the fan still on meduim, it is silent. The noise has got to be from the mounting.
