Hey everyone! I got back from a vacation to Nashville, Indiana a few days ago, and I took pictures of all of the ceiling fans that I saw. By the way, I also got a antique Dominion desk fan from an antique store, see this thread: ada19851985.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=portablefans&action=display&thread=3797 ;D
Anyway, here we go in no particular order:
First off, I stayed in a rented cabin, and it had this Hunter Regalia II in the family room:
[a href=""][/a]
[a href=""][/a]
They also had this Westinghouse table fan upstairs:
[a href=""][/a]
I went to a big antique mall (which did not have any antique fans/ceiling fans for sale ) and they had these Toastmaster spinners:
[a href=""][/a]
[a href=""][/a]
[a href=""][/a]
Out back, they had a barn with additional antiques, and I saw my first Emperors in person! Not the best examples though, note the warped blades. They're Harbor Breeze Marco Islands:
[a href=""][/a]
[a href=""][/a]
Then, there was another antique store that had this Design House; this is where I found the Dominion. Yes, it does have that cool light kit ;D:
[a href=""][/a]
Next, they had this store complex, which included a candy store called the Candy Dish (great stuff there and they had some originals in the store complex:
52" Chestnut Brown with a light kit that I've never seen on an Original:
[a href=""][/a]
[a href=""][/a]
Gorgeous 36" Chestnut brown Original:
[a href=""][/a]
Next, there was a clothes shop with this Carroway spinner:
[a href=""][/a]
Next, there was a coffee shop with these very neat Sears-Laskos. Sorry you can't see the stencil:
[a href=""][/a]
[a href=""][/a]
They also had this Hunter Summer Breeze with a cool light kit:
[a href=""][/a]
[a href=""][/a]
Then, I went into this shop called "For The Birds" and they sell bird supplies (feed, houses, etc.) and they had this 36" Carroway spinner:
[a href=""][/a]
[a href=""][/a]
They also had this Encon Monarch:
[a href=""][/a]
YESSSS!!! I saw my first Emerson Casablanca Classic! I don't know why there is a band-aid on one of the blades... It was in a glassware store:
[a href=""][/a]
[a href=""][/a]
Next, there was a store that sold different packaged foods, and they had these Toastmaster spinners:
Fan 1:
[a href=""][/a]
Fan 2:
[a href=""][/a]
Next, I went into a store called "The Men's Toy Shop" where they sell novelty and funny T-Shirts and hats. They had these PB Sears huggers; they had cane on top of the blades:
[a href=""][/a]
[a href=""][/a]
Next, I went to a pizza restaurant called Harvest Moon Pizzaria, and they had these Bahamas. This one was on medium:
[a href=""][/a]
The other one was off fortunately :
[a href=""][/a]
Next, there was a small novelty shop with glass items, model cars, toys, etc., called Merchantile. They had this little PB CEC GE-vent fan in the front of the store:
[a href=""][/a]
[a href=""][/a]
They also had this 36" Toastmaster spinner towards the back:
[a href=""][/a]
[a href=""][/a]
Next, there was this ice cream place called Miller's Homemade Ice Cream, and they had these very cool (rare?) Encon Crompton Greaves with switch housings. This one had a variable speed control:
[a href=""][/a]
[a href=""][/a]
Here are the 2 in the front of the store. The one closer had the variable speed control, and the one farther had 2 pull chains:
[a href=""][/a]
Next, I went to a restaurant called The Hob Nob Corner Restaurant (great food there ) and they had 3 Originals. I just got pictures of the one in front; they were all the same:
[a href=""][/a]
I don't think the canopy is original, in fact one of the 3 had a standard Hunter Original canopy:
[a href=""][/a]
Next, there was a restaurant called The Ordinary (great food there as well ;D) they had 3 AB Codeps, and one Hunter Silent Breeze replacement:
[a href=""][/a]
[a href=""][/a]
Then there was this complex of buildings called the Waldron Gallery, and they had the following fans. Some guy was laughing at me taking these pictures, but I pretended not to hear him.
Sears-Emerson. I took lots of pics:
[a href=""][/a]
[a href=""][/a]
[a href=""][/a]
[a href=""][/a]
Hunter Studio Series:
[a href=""][/a]
Hunter Infiniti:
[a href=""][/a]
Harbor Breeze Whitestar:
[a href=""][/a]
And finally, a AB Codep. Cool fan:
[a href=""][/a]
[a href=""][/a]
And that concludes the ceiling fan tour! Enjoy, everyone!!!
