Here you can talk about or show pictures of your Christmas lights. Anyway, I went to a thrift store a few days ago, and I bought these NEW IN BOX Christmas lights for ONLY 45 CENTS!!!!! ;D They are from 1992. Here they are: [a href=" "] [/a] [a href=" "] [/a] [a href=" "] [/a] Close up of a green bulb: [a href=" "] [/a] Front of box. Yes, I know it says 95 cents, but they were on sale: [a href=" "] [/a] Back of box: [a href=" "] [/a] The rack the lights were on: [a href=" "] [/a] Enjoy the pictures!

My grandma has clear sets of those on the "Old Dead Tree". Yes, they have an old dead tree in their family room. It's mounted in the floor somehow, probably cemented in. It's very odd, but I hardly even notice it anymore as it's always been there. Probably one of the only houses in America that has a dead tree in the floor.
I've got some Christmas lights, but many are newer as old sets died out.

Hey everyone, here are some pictures of my other lights and things that are in my leave-out-year-round Christmas bag ;D: First of all, I have these 1960's swirl C9 ones with the box: Box: [a href=" "] [/a] Lights: [a href=" "] [/a] Here they are on, Yes I know that blue one on the bottom right is burnt out; I have replacements : [a href=" "] [/a] I have these all white C7 ones I bought a few years ago: [a href=" "] [/a] [a href=" "] [/a] I know this isn't a Christmas light set, but I thought I'd show you it anyway. A C7 single clear bulb window candle: [a href=" "] [/a] Next, car lights. Someone gave me these when I was very little: [a href=" "] [/a] [a href=" "] [/a] I have this very long 100 set of mini lights: [a href=" "] [/a] [a href=" "] [/a] Again not Christmas lights, but these are neat. A red and a green battery operated candle (they only make white ones now as far as I know): [a href=" "] [/a] [a href=" "] [/a] I have this set of 50 mini lights with the clips that hold the bulbs in place. [a href=" "] [/a] [a href=" "] [/a] Next, I have a short 35 string with very bright bulbs: [a href=" "] [/a] [a href=" "] [/a] I have these fish lights ;D: [a href=" "] [/a] [a href=" "] [/a] I bought this 100 set of heavy duty mini lights at a resale shop several years ago: [a href=" "] [/a] [a href=" "] [/a] I have this 10 string of C9 Christmas lights. I have A TON of other bulbs to go with this set. [a href=" "] [/a] [a href=" "] [/a] Enjoy the pictures!

I love the swirl ones as well. I have a bunch of those battery operated candles too, and 4 five light plug in kinds. Two are matching, and in the boxes, another is from my grandma and also with the box, and another is from a garage sale with no box.

Hey Adam! Create a website called VintageChristmasLights or something! The only thing I love about Christmas lights is driving by them at night, especially on Christmas Eve..and going to friends houses and see their Christmas Tree..and then them seeing my own.. I guess I'll add that I love hanging red and green lights in my room from Black Friday to Valentines Day. I hang them in my window as well..but now I've got a weather cam sitting there and it picks up reflections from room lights..especially from my ceiling fan..I wonder if building a true box for it would solve this problem..

What I need to show you guys is my mini Christmas tree collection. I have about 20 trees, that are all smaller than a real artificial one. Most have lights; light strings vary in length, type, and age (one set is from the 1960's, some sets are fairly new, a few are battery operated, and a few are LED). I'll get some pictures this Christmas. Anyway, here is the picture of last year's setup. Note: If you look closely, you can see the "Ceiling Fan Brand" Tree ;D (Sorry I don't have a better picture of it): [a href=" "] [/a]

I love LED lights! I just bought a few sets of icicle LED lights to replace the 12 year old incandescent sets. I think the cold LED matches the icy cold winter we get here, compared to warm LED or incandescent..plus we're saving some moola here as well. I'd switch to LED red and green, if I could afford two sets of each color..that's about the amount it takes to string around the perimeter of my room, including the window twice around. I wonder if LED chasers exist? Those would so rock.
