Does anyone have any SMC switch housings, or fans that they are parting out???
I'm in charge of the fan section at my local Habitat, and i've got a Laguna and an A-52, both with broken-off switch housings. I need to find out if I can secure these parts for free or cheap, since I don't really need to be spending my own money to fix the fans as they are not mine. I may see if the store will pay for parts.

Hey Louis, I have an SMC Emperor hugger that I recently parted out. Plus, I parted out a white/PB Sears Saturn copy and a Plastic Sears Emerson.

Would you be willing to part with the switch housing assembly on the SMC Emporer? If it is the stamped steel kind I am thinking of, it might work. I would need the flange that it mounts to as well, as I am wanting to replace the entire switch housings on a Laguna and an A52.
The switch housings on said fans are the pot metal kind, and are broken off completely. Not many Habitat shoppers want to buy them like that. I'm thinking about getting the fans myself, but i'm not sure yet.

I have a box of switch housings but nothing SMC I dont think.
I'd just save the fans until fans you can part out come in.

Yeah, i'm fairly sure the fans will be there. Most people that I help at the store are looking for complete unbroken fans. Many times they won't even buy them if they are only missing the mounting bracket.

Just take them for free since they're unsaleble. If/when you fix them you can donate them back.
