That would be a second generation NuTone Slimline.

Very late 80's to mid 90's... I personally like the old generation better. Most older NuTones are pretty cool fans.

The fan is in a house that is for sale on ebay right now. I wasn't aware that there was a second generation slimline. The house was remodeled in 1993, so I guess the fan is early 90s.

It looks like an interesting home... although I would put a fan in that location with a bigger motor then that of a Slimline. A decent fan would really pay for itself in a location like that(due to how high it is and how big the area is). A white Panama or Riviera would do nicely...

Was there a third generation with a slightly smaller switch housing? I remember seeing such a fan in a Nutone catalog. I have scans somewhere.

Also, I too love the house, and that would not have been my fan choice . . . a room that size needs more than one fan!
My local YMCA used to have, in the HUGE split level foyer, one white Nutone Slimline on a very long downrod. It wasnt even in the center, wasnt over anything significant . . . but it was always cool to see it there! When they remodeled they took the fan out. The rest of the building was hideous, concrete block ceiling and mercury vapor lights even in the classrooms.
