I'd almost be willing to put money down that it's some kind of Thomas. They had a lot of interesting concoctions that used Fasco blades and brackets.

Hicks and I discussed this picture when we first discovered Flickr. I think we suspected it is not original.

Yeah I've already seen it too and I'm pretty sure that its NOT original. The motor appears to be a cheaper late 80s skinny top mount fan with builder vents. And those Fasco cane blades are not only rare but quality compare to the fan itself. Notice the color of the tassel! Some kind of brown. The fan reminds me of this: www.orientfan.com/ceiling/ef100_42hpb4.htmBut its a COOL combination.

Thanks. Have you noticed the color of the tassel? Of course that Orient fan in the link looks even cheaper than the one at the top. The housing is sort of curved up wards which makes it looks even cheaper and pretty ugly. The one in the top link have a flat bottom with a chunky rounded switch cap to the switch housing. Its a real late 80s one. But the one in the top link seems to have a pretty thick housing for a builder vent one. Could this be a late 80s Moss WF Series or something?
