A few questions about plastic Laskos.
These remind me of the KDKs? Is it possible that these were made by KDK?
What colors did these come in and what years are they? Do they work by a pullchain?
The only 2 places I have seen them were in boxes at Walmart in late 95- early 96 and more recently a blue one on a front porch.

Also something I just noticed. Older plastic Laskos came with notched blade ends with stencil. Newer ones just have flat end blades and no stencil.
Also of interest: The plastic Lasko was one of the last household fans to use a lower canopy and a top-mount spinner design, similar to Moss/CEC fans.

Oh really? That cheaply cheap? I bet they are still better than those cheap huggers and builderfans they sell at WalMart now.

The only 2 places I have seen them were in boxes at Walmart in late 95- early 96 and more recently a blue one on a front porch. Both companies made fans out of Japan. Japanese fans arent very common, there arent many companies other than these two, and Panasonic (definitely connected with KDK). As for a connection between KDK (Panasonic) and Lasko I dont know, but I wouldnt be surprised, they are very similar. Perhaps they were made in the same factories.
