Here are the June sightings. A lot a them will require identification. All of them were taken in Montréal:
This first batch was taken at Plaza Saint-Hubert when I went fan sighting with Philippe Aubry. He is the one that told me about most of these fans. I love how the Plaza is not too renovated. It reminds me of the Montréal of 20 years ago when they were still so many cool 1970-1980's fans installed.
A clothing store has this awesome 1979 4 Saisons Industrial 120 cm. This is exactly like the one I got in
2016.
Here's a short demo video of it on low speed.
At the back of the store is this mid to late 1980's Banvil Silver 140 cm.
A different store have Hampton Bay Quick Connect.
Another one have these two unknown antique brass ornate 107 cm fans. They have a very small stationary housing, they are not semi-spinners. They are probably from the mid 2000's. Notice the reversing switch. My guess is Walmart/Mainstays. Anyone know for sure?
Another clothing store have three of these very rare 1980 Sanyo 140 cm fans. It's only my second time seeing them in person and my first time seeing white ones. It seems the brown version is slightly more common. I posted two brown ones in this thread on
page 30. The fact that they are scratched and seem to reveal brown underneath makes me wonder if they are brown fans painted white but at the same time I'm pretty sure they were offered in white. One was on medium speed and the other two off.
Here are two different ones:
This clothing store have the first room with this awesome installation of four or possibly even five ivory 1984 4 Saisons Industrials in the less common 90 cm version. I prefer them in the bigger version but it was very cool to see this installation. The swirl sticker are still in good condition on their lower canopies as you can see.

A different one:
The other room of the store have this mid 1990's Canarm Catalyst III 107 cm and two recent Hampton Bays (not photographed as they are uninteresting). Yes! Ironically the five blade version came out before the four blade version.
An awesome footwear store have this insane row of eleven Hunter Augusta III! THe fans being closer together after the 3rd fan is
not an illusion.
Another clothing store have this cool installation of three huggers on a this preserved ancestral ceiling with cool fluorescent uplights with recessed lights underneath. The problem is that the ceiling is 3m tall so they could have used something a lot better. The satin nickel finish with the cedar blades seems original so with this unique finish combination it might be easier to identify them. Someone recognize them?
A suitcase store have the grand classic. 1995-2011 Canarm CP56. They are in superb condition are you can see.
A dollar store have this mid 2000's Nadair Industrial 140 cm at the front of the store.
A French restaurant have two recent Canarm CP36. I might get better pictures eventually.
This next batch is right outside the Plaza but still very close to it.
A small café have this brushed aluminum Modern Fan Co Ball 132 cm with maple blades. We don't see this combination often.
Here's a better photo of this early 1980's Evergo 120 cm with four metal straight blades Philippe took photos of last winter.
Also better photos of these two mid 1980's Canarm spinner 90 cm in a laundromat. Pleasantaire lovers will adore this.
This next batch was taken in Plateau Mont-Royal, a different borough further west still filled with cool fans.
This awesome installation was taken inside a mid century style diner converted in a italian restaurant. It is a genuine one. At first I thought the fans were Banvil New Yorker but they have a different finish, the blades have no lines and the shape of the motor is different. Essentially they seem to be exactly like current brushed nickel Westinghouse Industrials but with different lineless short blades. They are clearly 120 cm. 140 cm would not have fitted in there correctly anyway. Someone knows what they are?
A cool furniture store have two mid 1980's Nadair Industrial 140 cm. I've been wanting to take a photo of these for a while. This one is installed next to a skylight. It has been painted over hence why the fan is matte and the line around the motor is not yellow anymore. These have a yellow line, not a metallic gold ribbon around their motors.
A street corner dépanneur have three of these rare contoured bladed 4 Saisons 140 cm from 1984 like the one I acquired in
2016.
Here are more pictures of this place where they make stained glass with multiples spinners installed inside that Philippe took photos of. They are four fans. The two middle ones are 4 Saisons Montego 90 cm from around 1982-1985. They appear to be the wall controlled version with the short switch housing.
They are also two of these 107 cm spinners. At first I wasn't sure what they were but they seem to be 4 Saisons Galaxy 107 cm from the same period as the Montego. These are 3-speed pull chain though. This one is wobbling.
A glossy black Canarm 107 cm from the 1990's.
A better photo of one of the two 1980's Nadair Industrial Philippe took a photo of.
This last photo was taken further east at the Botanical Garden inside the Japanese pavillon. I had been in this pavillon a few times before but never saw this fan until now. Some of you might remember the photos I took of their Super pedestal fans in 2016 and 2017. It's a Canarm Grand Builder from the very early 2010's. For a short time it seems they looked like this and it appears they came back to the older classic style.
It's on a 3-speed Canarm slider wall control despite having a three speed pull chain and being in reach. Here's a quick demo of it's three speeds.
Enjoy and comment.
