Do you think the thai fans are Mitsukawas? the SMC's motor is notably bigger than the chinese versions, these blades were introduced in late 1987 or 1988 i have no idea actually, i would have guessed them to be a kawa or something similar

Here are the sightings for May. In a dépanneur inside a métro station in Montréal are at least two late 1980's white Nadairs spinner 90 cm. If you like them I might get pictures of the others. They might even be a 3rd one. A hairdresser in Rosemont (Montréal) has this old early 1980's brown Evergo. A rare variant with three straight metal blades in 120 cm. Very cool! Still in Rosemont, an economy store have these two recently installed Canarm CP56 above the stairs. I went to that store in September 2012 and they were not there. Notice how they don't have gold line around the motor. It's very nice to see fans randomly added in existing building rather than being removed or replacing other fans. They were on high speed. They are a little less pictures this time but watch out for the portable fan thread in the other section. I will post a lot of cool fans there. Comment and enjoy!

Here are the sightings for June. A vintage S&P HTB 90 cm fan in a restaurant in Barcelona, Catalonia. I went to a Patrick Morin renovation center for the first time. This is the large one in Saint-Eustache, QC where used to be a Loblaws. Here's a glimpse of the fan selection. I didn't photographed every single fan plus they sell also some Westinghouse that were not on demo. Canarm Jasper 107 cm, one of the few models still using the triple pull chain mothode. The good old Canarm CP56. They had them on sale for only 45$ and I believe their regular price is only 80$ which is less than Rona and Réno-Dépôt now that sells them for more than 100$. I didn't get one as I already have two of the CP series. Canarm Galaxy 90 cm Canarm Omni also still using three pull chains. Another classic that's been around for more than 20 years: Canarm Catalyst VI Enjoy and comment!

Back to the unpopular demand, here are the sightings for July. Sorry for the bad pictures. All of them were taken in Montréal except for the two first ones. Theses two Canarms were taken in the Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean region of Québec both in two different hotels/B&B. This Canarm Grand Builder, also know as the ''Subway fan'' as they are very common to see in Subway restaurants that were renovated or opened in the 2000's. The other hotel/B&B have this white Canarm Tuscany 107 cm. This model was sold between the late 1990's to mid 2000's, possibly slightly later. A RARE late 1970's early 1980's Canarm 120 cm with nut in an art gallery in Vieux-Montréal along with two older HRS 140 cm that I could not get a pictures of. Even this one was difficult to photographed as you can see. It's only the 3rd one I see like this in person. I used to think that this model was associated with TAT but now that I could see this one from closer and I even saw the controller, it's definitely associated with Evergo instead. It was on low speed, about 65 RPMS. This bar in the Village had a black painted Canarm CP56 and a vintage polished brass Banvil spinner with four oak and cane blades until recently when they replaced both fans with these ugly things. Someone knows what they are? A restaurant in Vieux-Montréal has three or four of these very badly green painted and raspberry GE vents that appear to be Canarm Grand Victorians. They were all spinning at medium or high speed. These two are in good condition but one have it's brackets very messed up. No: 1 No: 2 Enjoy and comment!

I like the spinners in the display. I also think it's interesting how they have them powered, heavy duty cords and plugs. Do any of them run or do they just turn the light kits on?

I found this intresting too. I don't go often to this store so I don't know their habits. This time all the fans and lights of fans were off. I still see displays with working fans at different stores from time to time.

I remember you posted a picture in the past of three S&P with thick rounded motors missing the blades but it was not this older small size 1970-1980's model that I posted seen in a restaurant in Barcelona. Maybe you are talking about pictures from April I took in Paris?
