found this beauty at my favroite thift store: Its a 1985 Delta I, one of the last delta 1's, seeing how the Delta II was introduced in late 1985. When I got it, it had an intergrated spot light kit, but two of the spot light adjusting sockets were broken, so I cut the arms off of a cheepe light kit and stuck them where the spots would go. It also had the 1/2 inch down rod with intergrated coupler, introduced in 1987. It also has a newer 4/5 blade flywheel on it. Kind of a weird fan, but for 5 bucks, I can't complain. It works perfect.

Good going, Matt. That's a real deal for a Casablanca. I sure wish that fans like that would turn up @ my local flea market...all I ever got from there were spinners.
Enjoy that Casablanca!

You're catching up on my Casablanca count. Why can't my area have decent fans?? I'm getting close :-) The thift store I go to is HUGE! It's in a former K-mart or wal-mart, so its big. They have got everything from refridgerators to cookware. There is an isle, about 15' long with shelves on each side the leight of the isle, and four shelvs on each side designated as the fan and lighting isle, the right side is full of light fixtures, lamps and lighting stuff. While the left side is full of fans. The usually stick the assembled ones on the top shelf, but they still manange to get banged and bent up. The other three shelvs are fan motors, parts and blades. Lots of huggers, spinners and junkfans. They get new stuff everyday. This is the same place where I got the three antique brass four seasons. The deal is, fan motors are three bucks, blades are 50 cents each. Complete fans are 5 bucks.
