i have a casablanca delta2 ceiling fan a standerd downrod wont fit this fan i need help on what the heck this is it had a homemade downrod on it does anyone have a downrod or the ring with the three hols so i can put a downrod on it thay cost to much i dont have the money to get one someone help me out thanks

your best bet is to remove the existing downrod-motor coupling and replace it with a perma-lock motor coupling, which will accept 3/4" downrods.

You'd have to get one from a Casablanca parts supplier such as www.casablancafanrepair.comOr just make your own 3/8" downrod and put a 3/4" downrod on the outside of it for decoration.

It's just a regular Casablanca mounting piece. All Casas had this at one point, before the "post" method or Perma-Lock came along. It's simply a 3/8" downrod inside of a decorative 3/4 tube.
