I put a Lutron variable control wall switch to control a fasco 952. Now I cannot get the fan to run. I tore the wiring apart in the fan housing to bypass the variable knob, now I cannot get it re- wired. Anybody have help or a wiring diagram for this old fan.

I can't help you, but there are others here that will be able to help. Is that a World's Fair?

No. By reading some of the other posts descriptions it is the ParlourFan. Its a model 952. Anybody else have information on the wiring in the pull switch/variable speed housing? Steve

Oh right, I knew that. Just kind of blanked out there. I would've thought someone would have responded by now, but maybe later today someone will.

I certainly hope so. I will continue to wait for someone that knows more about wiring and why I cannot get this thing to work. Thanks Cole. If you happen to hear of someone that knows about this fan send them on over. In reading the different posts it sounds like this was a pretty good fan in its day.

Yes, for sure that was and still is a very good fan. They costed a pretty penny when new. Anybody know if Thomas used the same wiring as Fasco? Mine is similar to a ParlourFan, and if it's the same, maybe I could pull it out and take a look to see what I can do.

Dan? I believe Thomas and FASCO are almost the same.

Thomas and Fasco are not really the same.
Send pictures of the wiring, so I can see which version you have.
