I believe that is a Hunter Barritz hugger, refer to To View Fans page one. I also see a Casablanca? canopy in there.

Hunter never made an Original with pretzel arms, unless it's a reproduction, or replacement arms.

The Astoria looks like it has a perforated sideband too... I would like it with different brackets though. I have heard bad things about the 5 minute model. The Studio Series is cool, but it looks like the Stonington just with different vents and only comes in one finish?
If the Original that Jeremy was talking about was the one in the dentist office, I remember that and it was decided to be a copy. I vaguely remember that thread.

That's the one Jeremy! Thank you!
Motor is exactly like that of the one on the left.
It is PB, with mahogany blades. VERY nice looking fan, well taken care of. Blades are perfectly straight, motor is shiny and beautiful still.
Anyone have an estimate on how old these are?
Definitely not the bayport btw..

The picture Jeremy posted is a Nutone, not a Hunter.
The picture from the Yahoo Groups is indeed a Barritz hugger next to a Homestead canopy.

Yeah I know, when I first saw the NuTone Hacienda I also toughed that they looked like Hunters because of their brackets and switch housing. To me NuTone Haciendas looks like from the mid 80s.

Nutone had a lot of designs that copied Hunter in their later years. Also I feel the Sea Island must have been a Fasco copy.
The Verandah I was an R&M copy. Not sure about the Verandah Deluxe.
