Sad news, guys...
I went to OC for a weekend's vacation.
The Dough Roller restaurant on 3RD St. (not the one that burned) totally remodeled and installed new fixtures.
All the Casas in that location are gone:
-An AB or PB (tarnished, couldn't tell the finish) Casa Delta II with hi-gloss blades was replaced by a cream-colored chandelier.
This was one of the Delta II's left over when the Dough Roller was refurbished in 2005...
-Two newer PB Casa Panama II 3-Speeds with walnut blades, K4S's, and leaded crystal glass on long down rods, got replaced by cream-colored Progress Lighting AirPro crap :(To think these Casas were just thrown out after being installed in 2006 or 2007
-A PB HB Carriage House II was replaced by another cream-colored Progress Lighting AirPro
Though this is the only fan replacement I'd approve of (:
All the Progress Lighting AirPros were 44" (too small for the restaurant), and had dark wood-colored blades. The replacements for the Panamas were on short down rods.
In other news, on the boardwalk:
-2 (badly) tarnished and oxidated AB Hunter Passport III's still remain and in running condition at the boardwalk's horse racing game.
-The completely rebuilt Dough Roller still had 3 PB Casa Ventura II's IT with long down rods, hi-gloss rosewood blades, leaded glass, and K4S's.
-Dumpser's Drive-In on 40-something St. still had nine brown 4B Fasco 52" GEV builders.
And stores at the Inlet still had their fans:
-One store still had an AB Evergo Emperor (it's in the member Evergo gallery with a turtle fitter) and an AB 5B Hunter Summer Breeze with its blades painted white.
-Another store moved from one side of the Inlet to the other, the old store they were in had no fans. But the new store they're in still has 2 white Fasco 3rd-gen Charlestons (there's a pic in this thread, I believe).
-There's still a white/AB Fasco Olde South in a shop, but one of them got replaced by a white HB Farmington. There's a pic of an Olde South from that shop here in this thread.
-Shennanigan's still has 4 white Home Depot 2008-style 42" Hunter Low Profiles and 4 older-style BB Hunter 44" Low Profile III's in the bar. There were still 2 (badly tarnished) white Hunter Mariners on the front porch. I think the fan in the office was taken down, though (believe it was either a Crest or an Encon Crusader)...
-Tony's Pizza still has its white Quorum Classic 52", white HB 60" Industrials, and some white Fasco Gulf Stream 52" 5B builders missing blades.
Sorry, no pics this time around, as I hardly had time to take them.
-A place called 'The Bar' still has one GEV Evergo hugger.
