i really love the design of the motor at the top.
Recently, while in Canada I saw some awesome fans like those in a very fancy looking Tim Horton's.

I hate to bring back an old thread, but I just visited Ocean City, and here's a CF update:
Dough Roller Fans: The Dough Roller was completely rebuilt in 2009, and there are 3 PB Casa Ventura II's, all IT, 5 Dark Cherry 17" blades, 12" down rods, and a K4-S with clear leaded glass shades.
Fasco Olde South: One of them was replaced by a White HB Farmington, the other still remains.
Fasco Charleston (White): Both fans still remain
Evergo Hugger: Still remains, but if there were originally 2, one was replaced by a White HB Quick Connect
J/R's on 62ND St: 2 Rust-Colored Fasco 1ST-Gen Charelstons in 52" still remain, 2 were replaced by ORB HB Cameron II 52" fans, there's some GEV AB Broans, some Emerson AB 52" Builders, and a single mid 90s 5B AB Emerson Northwind. The 2 NuTone Verandahs in the lobby were replaced by 2 Brushed Nickel HB Classics/Builder's Bests.
Marty's Playland Arcade: All fans are gone, no rough-in covers, the ceiling was filled in and patched/painted where the fans used to hang.
Edwards: Edwards moved to only fill a section of the store, the upstairs and downstairs has been converted into a surf shop. The Emerson Designers are gone, ceiling was retiled and repainted where the Emersons used to hang. The Fascos are also gone, replaced by hanging lights with medallions to fill in part of the old holes, ceiling was painted blue. I have contacted Edwards to try and get one of the Charlestons, wish me luck. (:
Moss WF's/Minuet II's: Both Minuet II's are still there.

I think I've left my contact info at damn near all of the good places.

I think I've left my contact info at damn near all of the good places. I hope they saved the Fascos and I'm able to get one. If they call you, then you can have the other Fascos, I just want one.

That's too bad that these awesome fans are disappearing. Looks like there used to be a lot of cool stuff; I hope we can save some of it...
