Well, I made the drive up to Athens, about an hour away from where I am to the Habitiat per seans reccomendation. I was soo supprised to find three tables with plies of fans on them, literally, there were piles! Digging and digging I found this: Its an old tangung, and its a beast! This unit is huge! it works, but buzzes. Typical of any old variable speed fan. IT has the old pre hang tru casablanca mounting system, unfortunally the bracket it no where in sight. I then found this: A whole assortment of old stock nutone and hunter parts. Under that were these A set of casablanca cane blades, they will look great on my four seasons. Now for the motherload-

The tatung has a MONSTER motor in it! Its about twice the height a standard spinner motor! And its got a lot of power. I sprayed a little electrical cleaner in the variable speed control and now it dosnt make that popping noise.

You want casablanca delta blades? I also have a hang-tru canopy and a switch cap.

Way cool finds, Matthew! I especially like that Tatung...needless to say I thought it was a Patton (which is a RARE fan).

Nice fans, Matthew! I definitely like that Original. My latest Habitat find is a K63 Casablanca Victorian, which I like very much. Habitat re-stores are deifnitely great places to get nice fans for dirt cheap.
