Wow that is a neat fan indeed. Where did you get it from?

I saw one of those a few months back. It was 52" antique brass, and I thought it was a Hunter Original until I looked at the tag. This one didn't have Homestead blades and blade arms, though. I remember clearly seeing "Classic Fan Inc" on the tag. Yours looks pretty nice with Homestead blades. I wonder if it would be possible to put metal bearings in it?

I wonder if it would be possible to put metal bearings in it? If I could find a source for them, I probably could. I don't know if the shaft is the same of the Hunter Original. I'm not sure if I would use metal ones, these plastic ones are the original set. The only reason mine has Homestead blades is because I couldn't find the Original set, so I put the only ones I had that fit on it. Try to get the one you saw, I would be interested in it.

I have a couple of 52" Classic fans. They seem to be very well made, heavier than Hunter Originals.
Has anyone else seen the Classic Fans with the arch-end cane blades?

I have one of these still sealed in the box. Any thoughts on fair value? Thanks
