Last year, I dug out of my basement a '70s era Original that had been in a box for at least 15 years. With advice from some members of this forum, I was able to wire and hang it correctly. It worked right away, good as new...
The only problem I have is that it makes a buzzing/humming/vibrating noise at a regular, pulsing interval (24 times in 10 seconds) . It's very quiet on low, but it's really loud on high.
I don't know much about motors or fans or anything, so I was wondering if anyone here might be able to help me figure out how to fix this noise? If I had to guess, I would say that maybe a bearing is going out.
One thing: I over-filled it with oil soon after I got it working. However, the sound was there before that. It seems like it has gotten worse over time.
Thanks for your help!!

Check all screws and make sure they are tight. Try installing rubber washers between the blades and brackets. Actually, take off the blades and brackets and run just the motor and tell us if it still buzzes.
