Could someone tell me the value of "R1" on a Casablanca Zephyr "Vari-Quiet" board ?
This is a small 1/8W resistor, but I can't read the value, because it blew in half. I'd like to avoid buying another board when I can repair the board at home in my shop. There are also two blown diodes, CR3 & CR4 which appear to be 1N4000 series silicone diodes.
I have all of these parts in my shop and just need to know the value of R1 to repair it.
I checked the transistor via the harness and it's good: (forward and reverse biases properly).

First of all, do you have the blue board or the tan board?
You can try to replace all the componants, but I've done it before, and it always results in failure. I CANT explain why. These things were prone to problems.

Mine is the blue board. Any idea what the value of R1 is ?
Or, can you just read me the colors off yours ?
That would be BIG help !

My schematic (which I cant find) is for the tan board, which has different values. I have two fans with the blue board but Brian Hicks has one of them and Pierce Phillips has the other. I am no help at the moment.

The value probably isn't critical. If you find out, the info would be most helpful.
