Why is it that the screws used to mount blades on most ceiling fans aren't sold in stores? Hell, I can't find them online or even on Ebay.
I need: * 10-32 x 3/4 fillister head (for Emersons) * m5 metric, anything BUT pan head, at least 1cm long (for Tyebs) * 12-24, preferably fillister or something with a small diameter head (for Old Jacksonvilles; does Casablanca take these too?)
Where do you guys find screws, if you do? I don't want screws off other fans... that would just render those fans inoperable.

I buy in bulk from Fastenal. They can get what even the best hardware stores dont carry.

Troy, the whole point of my question was that I can't find these particular screws at Home Depot or Lowe's. The 12-24 screws Home Depot carries have heads that are too big, and Lowe's doesn't even carry that size.
I'll look up Fastenal online and see what I can come up with.

Have you tried any Ace, True Value, or local hardware stores? My local True Value has everything I need for fans except fillister head.
