No, his fan is either a wood or metal blade 48" encon/crompton greaves spinner.
Encon made the wall controls for their fans in one type only, for almost every (the 30"(?) princess model is excluded) encon/crompton greaves spinner used the same exact sized motor. Another member of this site may have a spare wall control. If not, you could always use a new fan wall control, like the ones Jean depicted.

I believe the 36" and possibly the 42" Encons use a slightly smaller motor than the 48" and 56" (which both use the same motor).

I don't think that's the case. Have you ever turned a 36" encon cg industrial on? They get up to speed immediately. The tag on one of my encon cg's reads: "Model: Suitable for blade sweeps not exceeding 1400mm."

Any speed control should work, go to Home Depot and buy a 3 or 4 speed wall control.

the reason I think I have a Encon Ceiling Fans Model 1200mm is because it looks just like the in pictures, even the speed control looks the same. Thanks for all the help!

When you say the control is broken, how broken is it? Maybe its repairable.
