What do you all think of the new Tripoli 48" fan at Home Depot? I think they are kind of strange looking and that $64 is too much for them. But that's just my opinion.
I like the look of almost every one of the current Hampton Bay fans but I am wary of buying any of them. Also the Hunters are nice looking to, but I'm afraid to pay the premium price for them. I really like the Moresby with the tiffany glass.
Also how much is the new Hunter Original selling for at Home Depot? I haven't seen it in the mail circulars and in the store there is no price on it. In fact I don't think they are as popular now with the cheap motor as they used to be. I do like the new Hunter Archive, but haven't seen it at Home Depot.

I think they look kind of ugly in my opinion. 64 dollars for that fan is a little expensive I admit that. But I don't I really don't like the current Hampton BaY Ceiling fans as they look art than ceiling fans. I prefer the fans from older days with Ge Vents and bulider vents.

There is not one ceiling fan at Home Depot that I would look at, or even take for free if was giving to me, more less buy them. Ceiling fans from the 70's early 80's were built like tanks, and made to last. Back in the early days, things were made to be serviced on when broken, such as household appliances like ceiling fans, TVs, Vcrs, and all eletronics. Now things are made to be thrown away when broke. Back then things were made out of thick metal, now cheap plastic and tuna can aluminum...

Back then things were made out of thick metal, now cheap plastic and tuna can aluminum... Um, Adam? Plastic Emerson buddy, Plastic Emerson... But I deffinatley agree about not taking one for free, but I would, to give someone as a replacement for a cool fan or parts, such as capacitors, but I agree, they are ugly as shiat.
