I dont know how many of you replace bearings in fans . . . I do but only when it is absolutely necessary. I have always bought my bearings from Motion Industries, they have been very helpful in looking up obscure ones, and reasonably priced: www.motionindustries.com/And I recommend them. However, today, they did not have what I needed in stock, they could have ordered it but it would have cost $13 per bearing. So on Hicks suggestion I tried Fastenal www.fastenal.com/They had the same bearings for $3. I will price compare with them from now on. However they are not bearing specialists (unlike Motion) so you have to know exactly what you need when you go in. BTW I have always bought screws from Fastenal, they have hard-to-find shapes and sizes, and sell in bulk.
