Restored Hunter desk fan
Congratulations on your purchase of a restored Hunter desk fan. You have a wonderful
piece of history that you will enjoy for many years.
USE EXTREME CAUTION when you use the fan. Do not use around children or animals.
Fingers can easily get into the moving blade and parts. Do not leave fan operating unattended.
Plug into 120v ac outlet. To adjust tilt, loosen bolt and adjust head. Do not adjust while fan is operating.
To start the fan turn the switch on the back of the base to on. On Century ® models, there is a slide switch on the front. To engage oscillation use a flat screwdriver to turn the screw clockwise, to disengage turn counterclockwise. Do not do this with the fan running.
The fan can be mounted on the wall by hanging the base by a screw that is anchored in a wall stud. Adjust the fan head to be vertical.
Always turn off and unplug the fan when not in use.
Oiling: the fan has had fresh oil installed before you bought it. Oiling is only required when the fan is used frequently. Use 3 drops Hunter oil in the hole on top of motor marked oil.
To clean the fan unplug and use a cloth with warm soapy water, being careful not to drip water on motor.

Your fan has been restored using only the best reproduction parts, finishes and paint and is guaranteed
For another lifetime. If you fan blemishes, or ever needs repair, ship it to us at the address on your card and we will repair it free of charge and pay the shipping back to you!
