Okay, here's the tutorial for posting in-line photos (such as the screen-shots you see in this post). Sean, please consider posting this as a sticky-note in all the forums.
Note that this is standard BB code, which is usable on almost all forums Web-wide.
STEP 1: Upload the desired photo, which we'll call "sample.jpg", from your computer onto a Web-based photo-hosting account (such as Photobucket).
**NOTE TO PHOTOBUCKET USERS: All you have to do is click inside the "IMG Code" field under the desired photo, and it will auto-copy the appropriate link and code to your clipboard. Paste that in you post here on the forum, and you're all set! Very easy! You're done! Stop reading this!**
STEP 3: In your post here on the forum, paste the URL link to your photo (http://www.example.com/myusername/sample.jpg), highlight it, and click the button that looks like a picture of a landscape in a white frame--it's one of the buttons at the top of the editing field where the bold, italic, etc. buttons are. You're done. What this automatically does, you can do manually:
Tack the following text, all spaces omitted, onto the front end of the URL: [ I M G ] Tack the following text, all spaces omitted, onto the end of the URL: [ / I M G ]
So, your URL should look like this:
All set!
Yeah, it's trippy to see a picture of the forum within the forum. I know.
