mike,my parents has a early 80s VCR,we still have it,but doesn't work right,i take a picture of it and share it with you and others whos intersed of old vintage VCRS our old VCR is NOT for sale now,mom/dad still want to keep it,but i take it for myself if they plan to get rid of it and MIGHT sell it on ebay in future.

thats cool, i used to have a few old things like that around here but had no place to store them, plus most of it all was broken anyway

I used to have a 20'' RCA 1981 color TV(with chrome and faked oak). We replaced it with a remote controlled Samsung TV in 1999.

i remember seeing some old RCA's that sit on the floor, and have that woodgrain finish with fake drawers on the bottom

we use to have that big RCA "sit on floor" tv too,but it broke and replace it with the tv they have now way back in 1994 or 1995 era

I collect old Beta Vcrs....Beta was better. Quality wise beta draws more lines than VHS in resolution. Beta was the first home consumer vcr in 1975 that Sony invented, VHS was invented by JVC a year later in 1976. VHS took over because the tapes were bigger, which means more hours, and thats what people wanted. The first HIFI vcr was a Betamax.
