Hey, does anyone remember those Generra "Hypercolor" t-shirts from the late 80s/early 90s era? They were these colored shirts which changed to a different color when heat was applied...kind of like those eyeglasses that get dark when you go outside. I have two of 'em...one pink that turns white, the other sky blue that turns turquoise. They are the coolest things on the planet. It's too bad they don't make them any more. The army owns the patent now; they're trying to figure out how to use it as a lie-detecting suit (when you lie, your body temperature increases). They're totally awesome. I remember in grade school, the funnest thing to do was to go stick you hand on the back of the guy wearing one (your print stays for like 30 seconds or so). Here are some pics of the ones I own: Natural state: After I held my hand on it for a few seconds: The other one: Cool, eh? Update: wow, there's a Wiki article on them: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hypercolor

That's really cool! I want one now... They are insanely cool. Well I'll be darned...I guess the army sold off the patent or something, cuz there's an American company making the same thing now: www.bodyfaders.com/. They've got t-shirts, tank tops, hoodies, polos...wait...WHO wears a color-changing polo shirt? No one in his right mind would do that! Anyhow, their website is cool, it shows all the colors they offer. Hell, maybe they'd be willing to custom make one where instead of dyeing the whole shirt, they just die a ceiling fan...so when it gets hot out, a colored ceiling fan appears on the front or the back (or both). Now THAT would be cool!!! Wait, I spoke too soon, they DO offer custom dyeing!: www.bodyfaders.com/custom_dyeing.asp. Who's gunna do it?! Of course, you CAN just use this ebay search: search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?sofocus=bs&sbrftog=1&catref=C6&from=R10&_trksid=m37&satitle=GENERRA+HYPERCOLOR
