I ve heard several opinions on these and I won a NIB 42" computerized one on ebay. Would this fan be a good candidate for my room? I really like it, but if it isnt ideal, i might trade or sell it for something good. Lemme know what ya think!

I think they have a spinner motor (don't want to take either apart), condition is great, reliability, haven't heard a noise outta em yet, and seem to go pretty fast with good air movement. Both are 6 blade fans. I have no info on the Homestar, Perrey or Dan would.

so both of yours are spinner motors? I recall, all homestars I've seenare computerized k55 motor fans. The thing i was worried about with the one I bought, was, having it run for a few months and then, KAPUT! Its a 42" fan, i dunno if that makes any difference. If I wanted to trade it, would it be fair to ask a NIB panama in return? as i know the new panamas arent exactly collectible, but homestars are. Lemma know guys
