Be careful if you attempt to "rescue" fans from old buildings. Two years ago, I snuck into an abandoned restaurant to salvage a couple of old Chadwick-Miller ceiling fans, and the cops showed up... Was it a RAX fast food joint? There is one south of where I live (now defunct) that had 2 Chadwick-Millers in their tall atrium. I was thinking about doing the same thing, but now that you mention it...

It's a pity to see nice places like the Pines left the rot away...I'd buy the place, clean it up, and make it a hotel again. If I had the money. It's a creepy place, though; it gives off very "Shining"-esque vibes, like the key shelves behind the front desk and the pschedelic bar room. www.opacity.us/site4.htm
