Is it even supposed to have a lower canopy?

I don't think it originally had a lower canopy. If it did you can tell by the compartment where the capacitor goes, on the top side of the motor. I collect fans that were all original, not a custom made fan...Thanks though......

If no one else wants it, I'll see what I can drag up for you for the Evergo.

This fan is a view-fan, not a moss.

This fan is a view-fan, not a moss. As far as I can see, he is right. I didn't know View Fan made a spinner with vents though.... View and Moss both made very similar fans... Any connection between the two?

i was actully beginnng to think it's an evergo, as it is wired like one. (big orange switch, etc) Look at the shape of the motor tho... It has to be either a Moss, or a View.

This fan is in no way, an evergo, or a moss. It is a view-fan. They made both non-vented and vented versions of this fan.

Now that you've mentioned that, I think I've seen a spinner View Fan with vent holes....

I really like that spinner fan, but I am not supposed to buy any fans so... That said I also like that SMC that's for sale in the other thread with the big light around the motor.
BTW, with those older flat blade brackets, I've seen people mount the blades both on top of and on the bottom of the brackets. Is there a correct way to mount them?
