I have two Inteli-Touch fans with a XLP-2000 motor that hum when the power switch is turned on (W-32 control). The him comes from the speaker on the RMM board. The motor and lights do not turn on except for a moment.
I would like to remove the RMM control and just run the fan from a simple switch or a speed control.
The service manual says that at high speed the motor receives full line voltage but i cannot figure out how wire in the capacitor.
Repacing the boards are about $100.00 each and what you bought is what you own. I like the service manual solution: replace the board, if the fan works install the new board, otherwise no answer.
thanx
