I have a model 22274 Hunter ceiling fan. It is in desperate need of oil. I need to know where to oil it and with what type oil. I installed it about 25 years ago and only can remember that instructions said to tip fan at an angle to see if "cup" is full. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks

There is an oil hole on the top of the fan near where the downrod screws in. I would use SAE 10 or 20 electric motor oil. This can be found at almost all hardware stores. But what I really recommend is 'Zoom Spout Oiler', which is available at Ace Hardware and a few other locations.
