Ok, my latest fan purchase which was the unusual footprint Litex footprint vent fan is completely powered by remote control. I do have a remote for it, but it doesn't seem to rev up the fan like it should...not sure if it is the correct type. It's remote control unit is supposedly nestled within the nose like a Craftmade TCS system, unlike in the canopy. Speaking of which, I do have a Craftmade Presidential I from 1995 (parted out), which operates on the TCS principle.
My biggest question is: Is it possible to convert the Craftmade TCS remote hub/sensor unit into the Litex (since it just snaps right in), and operate the Litex with the remote designated for the Craftmade? I'll only make such a conversion if it is not said to cause any fire hazard whatsoever. Does anyone recommend it?

Do the connectors match? Can you tell if the wiring matches up?

Yes they do...I did just that and plugged the fan in and my experiment seemed to work.

If it works, and does not burn your house down, then it is good.
