The light wire accidentally got yanked from my Charleston...Is there any way that it can go back in?

Yes, just shove the wire through the motor shaft.

Yes... you should be able to thread the wire back through the switch housing and motor shaft, directly out the end of the downrod (or start at the downrod end and push it through that way if it's easier and/or wants to jam). If for some reason the wire is damaged, you can pick up some 14 gauge wire with blue insulation (the usual color for light wire) at Home Depot or any auto parts store, and use that.

Almost all ceiling fans use 18 AWG (american wire guage) wire. The thickest replacement that would fit properly would be 16 AWG.

I agree with JW's instructions, and Andrew about the gauge.

OK, I got it all fixed now. What I did was thread some blue wire up the shaft, and it seemed to work. Thanks for your input.

Are any decorative (Fanimation) fan blades interchangeable with the old Hunter 4 blade, Model# 22272 blades?

I would not recommend it. You could harm the motor. The Fanimation blades are designed for motors that move slower.
If you're interested in this design, you could try one of the new tropical Originals.
