Obviously, most of you have heard about the deal I had made at a local restaurant for two brass hunter infinitis and a casablanca columbia (No, unfortunately I have not gotten the casablanca or the second infiniti yet). Anyway, I went over there yesterday, found that the owner had left, and then I left and took a ride (it got up to 55 yeaterday). There is an auto body in the same area that has four NuTone and two airmaster (flat motor) industrials. I passed the place before asking about the fans hoping to get them. Anyway, I passed it again and noticed that one of the nutones was missing. I asked the owner what happened to it and he said that he saved it for me and I ended up with my 49th fan. when I got home with the fan, it was FILTHY beyond recognition!! the blades were covered in layers of grease and dirt and the entire fan was stained yellow by grease. And it turns out that these nutones are actually AIRMASTERS!! . Althouth, I think these fans were made by nutone and relabeled airmaster. the label did not have the airmaster insignia and the fan is made in Hong Kong (nutones are made in Hong Kong). the flat motor airmasters were made in England. And there are a few other strange things about this fan. The fan was made in three sizes, 56'', 48'', and 36''. This fan is also light kit adaptable (uses an optional 100W globe light).

Congratulations! What size is it? How many blades does it have? I guess I need to keep track of how many fans I have...

Do they have the trademark Nutone canopy, small bell canopy with a lip on top and some subtle ribbing?
If they're just traditional bell canopies the fans might not be Nutone.

For that matter I'm very interested to see the light-kit-adaptable version.

If they are crappy then why do you want to keep one? Why do you keep all those crappy bottom-mount spinners Sean?? I want to keep one of those industrials just as a novelty.

the motors on my industrial and the four blade industrial are exactly the same, except for the lower canopy which is thin and rounded at the top.
