Shop tested the zephyr with a standard cord, no response. It would start if i rotated the flywheel, but other than that nothing, no chime. (maybe I need the actual intellitouch wall control for it to work) The board that I replaced with I'm guessing is the older board type, as it is greatly similar and fits in the old plastic shell, but it doesnt seem to do the flik feature. I wonder if the plug thats supposed to go to LT 1 and LT 2 is the LDM conversion harness, but that doesnt explain the white wire coming from the hollow switch housing shaft where all the others came from. I'm utterly clueless on what to do and its getting quite discouraging when a representative from wonderful casablanca tells me not much else than to completely upgrade the fan. I really wanna get this thing to run right. Please help

I turned on the camera that was hooked up to the USB port, but forgot that all hardware had to be reinstalled after our computer crash. I have to find the bloody cd if I want to get the pics of the LDM. I strongly believe the fan part will work just fine when I get the W11 switch as we discussed; as the new pc board must not have the FLIK feature on it. The light part already has the white wire coming straight from the motor part of the fan. I'm guessing black will come from the plug thats missing. The only part that was truely baffling was that the diagram casablanca gave showed both black and white coming from the plug, so why is it coming from the motor on mine? www.casablancafanrepair.com/do_it_yourself/rmm1_rmm4_conv_p5.htmlThanks, Trevor

As I said, I dont know much about IT. Matt Cody and Perrey are the experts, and they are both long gone. Sean knows a thing or two and he is gone as well. You could try talking to someone who is an authorized Casablanca tech, I can give you a few numbers.

The Casablanca techie said that I need what I think is a single plug that sprouts a black and white wire from the open area just above where it says "LT1 and LT 2. I dont know if its 2 smaller plugs or one larger one that just emits 2 wires???
Would it be wise to replace the vent covers? I'm guessing heat from the old board or just bad securing made the old cover warp and bend to where it will never fit back in place the way it was. I wanna keep this as original as possible, but will value decrease? (even though I plan on keeping it)
Adrian Parrado, I need to talk to you

Just glue the old covers back down, they're fine.
It's one larger plug with two wires.
