Check to make sure all the blades are aligned (same distance from the ceiling) have the same pitch (look at the profile while it is running and see if any blade appears "wider" or "narrower" than the others and are not "out of clock" (look at the fan from below and be sure the blades are spaced evenly).
If all this appears to be in order then either one (or more) of the blades is warped, one (Or more) of the blades is a different weight than the others, or the bearings are out of alignment.
If #1, get new blades. Sometimes you can bend the blade bracket to compensate for it but it still wont be perfect. If #2, try taping a quarter or weight to one or more blades, whichever blade wobbles the least with the quarter on top. etc. If more than one blade requires a weight, switch the blades so those two are across from each other. If #3, you're screwed, newer SMCs are cheap anyways.

Yes, cheap fans wobble excessively.

REMEDY : 1. REMOVE FROM CEILING 2. DROP OFF IN NEAREST DUMPSTER 3. GET A REAL FAN PROBLEM SOLVED.

However, exspensive fans, such as most casablancas, and most emersons, the brackets are made so ridgid, that the fan can be set sideways on the floor/ ground and not bend anything, however, a large impact(2x4, vacuum hose, etc WILL bend the bracket, and will caus the exspensive fan to wobble, however, most of the time, the ridgidness comes at a price. when you try to bend it back it tends to snap. Yes, but the expensive brands offer replacement parts.
