When i switch the speed control on my Zhypher to high, it just makes a humming noise and moves real slow. I know it's gone to a high speed before because it has done it twice. Its kind of like a random act when it decides to go fast, which isn't often. If anyone can help me out with this i would be much abliged.

I'm not too farmiliar with variable speed controls. I'll let Dan Neuman, our expert, help you with this. HOWEVER, I have a guess: there is a resistor inside the variable speed control--it is what allows the speed to be varied. I suspect that this resistor may be faulty or loose or something.
BTW: The correct spelling is: Casablanca Zephyr.

It probably is the variable speed control. Both my Evergo controls are bad and I need new ones. Does anyone have any spares I can use?

First of all, is this a three speed fan or a variable speed fan?
If it is three speed, how does it behave on the first two speeds? If it is variable speed, at one point of turning the knob does it start to fault?
It does indeed sound as though something is loose. However, with the Slumber Quiet system, those things are very tempermental to repair. Sometimes you can get away with jsut replacing the pot, other times you have to replace all the other parts as a set. When I get a Slumber Quiet that's bad, I either replace it with one of the older variable speed boxes, or I make it three speed.

Its a variable speed, it faults when I turn it all the way to full speed. Where it at one time kicked into high it stays at a low pace

Ok. That's the problem. All you need to do is replace the variable speed control.
BTW, does anybody have any spares?

Ok. That's the problem. All you need to do is replace the variable speed control. BTW, does anybody have any spares? Andrew, if you'd read some of my other posts, you'd know with Slumber Quiet it's not as simple as that. Slumber Quiet is, in a phrase, a pain in the ass. His best options are to replace the Slumber Quiet electronics with one of those carboard variable speed boxes, or to convert the fan to three speed. Both options require basic electrical repair knowledge . . . so, Industrialist, if this is no problem for you, you're good to go. I believe I emaield you with my contact information, call me up and I'll walk you through it. Andrew, I think you're asking about spares of the little cardboard boxes. I gave all my spairs to Ryan Sipka, but I've been told by a friend in the motor repair business that they throw them out all the time . . . start calling around to your area motor repair shops.
