Believe it or not, I finally have a hunter ceiling fan up. Due to Hunter ceiling fans being so common. I don't really care for Hunter, I mostly like rare stuff. I'm not sure if this is a early Passport or not. I've seen a six blade model of the same fan.
They were both only $8. The one with the light kit came with the blade brakets attached, but no blades. The other one has a set of blades but no screws to screw the blades on to the motor, out of both of them, I can make a complete one. I'm guessing this fan is from the mid to late 1980s. Once I find out more about this fan, I'll have some info up.....Thanks....

I dont see any question mark in your message.
If you ever run across the 6 blade version, GRAB IT.

I've been thoroughly confused about this model, see the eBay and Identification forums. I would believe it's a four blade Summer Breeze, but I always forget which has the lined sideband.

Hey nice fans Adam! I think those fans could be some summer breeze that what I think they are. I doubt that Summer Breezes have the filergee band. That's is my guess.

Can you post pictures of it here? Yes Adam, that would be a great idea. Since the rest of site is currently down, you should post pictures of your new additions on the forums, aswell as your usual message.

Mayfair has the lined sideband, summer breeze is plain, passport is filgeree Speaking of the Mayfair, my dad used to have one in his bedroom, but he has 2 Hunter Lexington series in it now. As for the Passport, there was a similar model with the filagree called the Piedmont, but the blades were the "1886" type blades. There is an antique brass Summer Breeze in a local radio station that I recently visited.

By the way, Adam, it's pretty cool that you have a section for Hunters...now you pretty much have every brand. Most of the fans I own are Hunters. I bought Hunters for my house in 1998, to replace our previous cheaper fans. The only fan that did not get replaced in '98 was the Georgian.
