These are the 1895 series that Pierce likes so much. They ahve what I refer to as a "half-K55" motor in them since the motor is basically a K55 with the bottom open. Good fans. Very good fans. I have 4 in various sizes and colors if anyone's interested.

What sizes and finishes do you have? I'm still trying to get one from Pierce.

The 1895 wasnt made with a dropped flywheel, I dont believe. I have 36" white and 42" brown and antique brass. I might have another I'm forgetting about.

It didnt have a dropped flywheel, it did have an ornate bottom plate. The antique brass one is yours provided Pierce no longer wants it, I dont believe he does but you can check with him. The asking price was $40 I believe.

I was referring to the brown 52'' fan we saw on eBay a while back. With the wood blades? It was put together but not on the ceiling? I think Pierce bid on it once? That fan was a Casablanca series, not a 1895. Find a pic of it in the Gallery

I thought the casablanca series were blender fans, the ones WITHOUT housings. The Casablanca series included all blender fans, the Friction Drives, the metal-housing fans with the Fasco flywheels (these were called "Casablanca Classic") and the plastic-housing fans with the Fasco flywheel (these were called Casablanca Designer Series). 1895 series have the small vent holes and the very thick blade brackets that mount to a metal flywheel.
