Added to gallery. N-101 C, and PE-336 Models added. Check them out. They both have a tag on the motors, but do not say the manufacturer, but have model numbers, I wonder why. Let me know if they are not codeps. The 36 inch model had a light kit installed, I replaced it with the nut off the N-101 C for the photos...Adam

My aunt had that exact N-101 model in her master bedroom at her previous residence. It had a very ugly, yet ornate, light kit on it. It did not have the wall control, it just had a regular on/off switch. So the fan only ran on high, but damn, did that thing ever kick! It was there when she moved in and as much as she loved it, she said it was "meant to stay there" so I was not aloud to remove it...lol. But the fan was about 5 when she moved in, she lived there for 15 years, and moved out two years ago, it just keeps going and going. The original owner had mounted just one of the blade irons upside down since it was highly out of balance, but this solved the problem. Ah...memories!

I forgot to mention that both of the codep fans don't go fast at all, They go about a medium speed on high. on the N-101 C, the blade brackes are mounted upside down also, as you can see the blades slope down, instead of up. Thats the way the previous owners mounted them....Adam

I am surpriced to see the one I mentioned earlier did not go very fast. The one my aunt had without the speed control was VERY fast on high, which was surprising due to the mass of the heavier wood blades. The thing was like a whirlwind. Wonder why yours goes slowly?

It might have to do with the capacitors wearing out or it might just be the size of them. Try replacing them, that might work.

Andrew's partially right, bad capacitors is probably the issue. Unless they dont spin freely, in which case, look to the bearings.
They're not Codep. Codep fans have different blades, arms*, lower canopies (the 52") and motor shape (the 36"). They look like View-Fan to me.
*Codep blades and arms are like those on the Moss Carribean Breezes with the wood blades-- squared blades with squared horseshoe brackets riveted on, and arch-end tips.

Wait, those blades and arms remind me of a Wing-Tat I have, so now I'm uncertain.

The people who put the fan together, did it wrong, that is the upper part, they never attached the bottom parts (badges), which looks like the Golden Fan Electric

What does that N-F stand for on the control? I've seen that before.

I've also seen that before, but I don't know what that means neither. If their not codep's, What do you think they are. If the 48 one is a Wing-Tat, wouldn't have the Tat canopy? Blade brakets would also be different, And the motor looks more like a Codep, Golden Fan Electric, or Moss.....Adam

In any case, I dont know what they are, I have a hunch but I cant remember what it is. I really doubt they're Codep, but you can leave them in the Codep gallery if you chose, since it's not that far off.
