added to photo gallery. I believe this is a Chadwick-Miller, looks just like my other brass one. the canopy is different, and the pull chain has 2 on and off postions. Let me know if you know what this ceiling fan if it's not a Chadwick-Miller..........Adam

Maybe you should look at the fan a little closer.

Try attaching a light kit to the fan and see if that's why it has 2 on/2 off positions. It might be one of those fans where the pull chain positions are:
fan on/light on fan on/light off fan off/light on fan off/light off

The NuTone verandah I mentioned a few threads ago had a combo pullchain. I was over at a friend's house and I saw a fan similar to that quoitzel in the yahoo group. It had the combo pullchain and the variable speed control.

That's a nice fan you've got there. Hey where did you get the fan from? ;D I think this looks a lot like the Kenroy model in the photo gallery. This is only a guess. ;D

he canopy sort of looks like the Tara canopy. Canopy is nothing like the Tara canopy, Tara canopy is long and narrow, this bugger is short and fat. You're right about the switch cap being Panasonic-y, however, other than that, nothing about the fan says Panasonic.

I saw a fan similar to that quoitzel in the yahoo group. It had the combo pullchain and the variable speed control. How similar? I've only seen one other Quoitzel, it had the same large oval vent holes, four blades (52") and a Key Largo canopy. It was on eBay, unfortunately I never got pictures or a chance to bid, my computer died the same day and didnt get running again for about a week. This was well over a year ago.

This is only a guess. ;D I dont think it's a Kenroy, although, Kenroy is one of those brands I've barely heard of and dont know much about. But, to me, it's not similar enough to the few Kenroy's I've seen.

Remember these import fans were made and labeled under so many different manufacturers, you can see the same exact fan with 3 different brand names, or fans made by two completely different companies and the same brand name . . . it get to be next to impossible to identify.

Exactly... they're the same blades as the 4-blade Tyeb as well.
