Thankyou.....Not one of my favorites, but saved from the trash, and gave me something to do, seeing how the reuse center has been selling a bunch of newer crap. Other then buying the chrome codep, It's been about two months since they had something intresting......Adam

Georgian fans are made by CEC. I have a 36" brown version with a smaller (SMC style) switch housing and no vent holes, NIB.

My fan has the canopy/crossbar mounting system instead of a ball/bracket mounting system. And my fan makes a crackling sound on high speed and on all speeds in reverse. Dan, do you have any ideas on this? I have that same fan, and it's dark brown. It is installed in my basement. Believe it or not...it was my first fan. My first fan(s) was a casablanca Delta fan from the early 90's, a 1995 hunter coastal breeze 44'', and a Sears/Lasko TOC

There was a 36" version of this fan with a unique switch housing minus the light kit in the yahoo unknown ceiling fan gallery. It is listed as an SMC look-alike. I have the brown version of that one, however.

I have the brown version of that one, however. That's Matthew's fan, a 36" SMC Georgian as sold at KMart. As previously mentioned, I have a brown NIB one.
